Who we are

Stavlos Social Cooperative Enterprise (KOIN.S.EP.), based in Trikala, was founded in 2022 by five active members who shared a common vision: to offer innovative and specialised services for children and people with disabilities through educational and therapeutic riding.

Our registered office is at the Municipality of Trikala’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub, GiSeMi Hub, while our activities take place on a privately owned 2.5‑stremma property, a short distance from the centre of Trikala, on the Leptokarya–Perdikorrachi provincial road. The space offers a natural environment rich in sensory stimuli, ideal for children’s emotional wellbeing and their connection with nature and animals.

Our social cooperative creates a safe and supportive environment for children, with educational and therapeutic riding at its core. By respecting each child’s individual needs and drawing on the unique bond between humans and horses, we design activities that foster development, confidence, communication and the joy of participation.

Our approach

Our work is rooted in collaboration, inclusion and care. We combine educational practice, hands‑on experience and social commitment in order to offer services with a meaningful impact on children, their families and the local community.

Our operation is guided by the principles of the social economy, inclusion and collective contribution. We believe that every child deserves access to experiences that support development, participation and quality of life, within an environment of acceptance, safety and respect.

Our team

Stavlos brings together people with different academic, educational and professional backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for children.

Despoina Charisopoulou – Special education physical educator, specialised in educational and therapeutic riding

Where to find us

We are based in Trikala, on a privately owned 2.5‑stremma property located a short distance from the city centre, on the Leptokarya–Perdikorrachi provincial road. Our space is open, natural and suitable for activities that combine contact with horses, nature and safe participation for children.
